take off the reasenators and replace them with straight pipe and use magnaflow mufflers and then use an Ingen intake which is $245 at Lextasy.com trust me it will sound great, mine does.

I have a 1999 Lexus GS300 and I am going to put eaither flowmaster or magnaflow mufflers on it. I was wondering if anyone had eaither of these mufflers and if they were happy with them or not

I have a 1999 Lexus GS300 and it has been making a crackeling/ratteling noise for the last few weeks. I went to a local muffler shop and the manager told me that peices from my catalytic converter have broken off and are not shaking around in the reasonaator of my car. He told me I will have to purshace a new catalytic converter which usualy runs around $2000. Is there anyway around this?

DEALER WANTS $1500 TO REPLACE ONE CAT. IF I REPLACE BOTH IT WILL BE $3000 :cries::cries:

MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER WENT AT 86K.....I LOVE THIS CAR AND DON'T WANT TO GET RID OF IT.. SO JUST TRYING TO FINDOUT IF ANY OTHER COMMON MAJOR REPAIRS ANYONE EXPERIENCED HERE? THANKS GUYS
