  1. 97 ES 300 w/111k $5,800 90k service was done. However, I did have to replace front brakes and rotors, radio display, spare key and remote. I did the work myself all for $300.00. Exterior 8.5 out of 10 interior 9 out of 10. The clear coat is peeling off of the wheels and two of them are curbed, but the fromt tires are new continential conti-contact. If anyone in the tristate has oem wheels I'm interested. eqm11866@comcast.net

  2. www.sparecarkeys.com The key will come to your door already cut just provide vin# and proof of ownership $ 60.00 or so not much more. My key works fine in the door and ignition.

So I bought a 1998 Lexus ES 300 at an auction with no key's that came with it. How can I get a new key for it without replacing the ECU? THe local Lexus dealership quoted me at $1400 to replace it. REDICULOUS. Does anyone know of a place I can reflash the ECU or somehow bypass the key transponder? thanks
  3. You can get a spare key from sparecarkeys.com. You will have to provide vin# and proof of ownership. The only thing is the key may not work in the door but it defnitely will work for the ignition. In addition, you can purchase a remote from keylessremotes.com. Both items are extremely cheaper than the dealership.

My stepson just purchased a '94 ES 300. No remote key was included.

What's the cheapest way to get one of these, and can the valet key serve as the master for cutting it?

    thanks!
