So folks, I listened to all of you and also did some research and finally went to the dealership last weekend and got my Prepaid scheduled maintenance plan canceled. It seems like we have 60 days from the purchase date to cancel it. They are going to return the money to the loan as a payment.
It's interesting to know that the dealer initially said $2400 for this 5 yrs 50K maintenance plan and then reduced it to $1895; I got a quote from one of the dealers online from this website for $1625. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction everyone!!!
Glad to be of help. As they say at Chick-Fil-A, "My pleasure!"
Is a Chick-Fil-A sandwich any good?
You betcha. Has the distinct, pleasant flavor of free enterprise with subtle overtones of freedom and respect ;)

Well, hot diggity~! I, too was afraid to do violence to the wiper arms....thanks for the information!

Ok, I hope you've got a good sense of humor.....
because I'm about to say, "Wow! There are three of us who have been totally spoiled by owning Lexi!"
Yeah, setting up the voice recognition is a bit of a chore...but stop and think: Is there really likely to be an easier way?

Lexus beats all other brand in Infotainment technology. J.D. Power.
Agree........Disagree?
Whats your opinion?
My 2011 ES350 keeps me a happy camper....only time it hiccups is when I try to make a call when I've just gotten into a hot car. Simply hitting the A/C "off" button while I instruct the magic maiden solves that little problem.

2011 ES350, 13,000 miles (hey, ease up! I'm pedalling as fast as I can! :chairshot: )

I checked the catalog and also asked my sales guy about that and they said that it only covers the regular oil changes, clean cabin/air condition filters, rotate tires, it does replace brake fluid for the 30K only basically the Lexus factory recommended service schedule. Somewhere in the forumn I read that this can be canceled for a full refund within 30 days. Have to try this today.
When I bought my new ES350 in February 2012, I sprung for the Extended Warranty. Then I went home and read it....egad, the exclusions turned it into a 50,000 mile warranty. Already got that with the car! Cancelled, got my money back, never shed a tear.
I drove my first two Lexi to 80,000 miles....only problem was that the ashtrays got full. Solved that by quitting the cancer sticks. :)
You can waste your resources any way you want....hey, I almost did!

Hey, I don't really mind what anybody drives....but I do have to say driving my Lexus is fun because it really torques the "wealth envy" crowd.
Extended Warranty Or Not?

Amazingly, one of the best chicken sandwiches I can find (and sorry about my flip remark before...it's rare to find somebody who asks literal questions anymore, so I got diverted into the politics).
