Just purchased an '08 GS350 RWD
MSRP $51590
Got a deal of $600 below invoice before tax and fees.
SF south bay area
Hi,
Would you mind telling me which dealer you had your GS purchased?
I was looking for the one with MSRP $51590 as well!
Fremont's quoted me $500 over invoice (before tax & fees)
Steven Creeks' quoted me $1,000 over
Pleasanton's was not willing to give a firm number.
Try to get it around end of Feb. 2008
Thanks in advance!
Bought mine back in July loaded with Nav, ML. 18 " G-Spider Wheels & tires MSRP of $55161 incl. dest. out the door before tax $50k

Does this sound system rock? Looking for opinions
I tested both systems out in the GS and decided to go with the ML. There is a difference when playing music CD's. Sounds are more crisp plus you can play DVD's when car is in park. With the ML system the center channel sound is more dimensional than with non- ML system. I am not even a high end audiophile and I can notice the difference.
Hope this helps.

I can't decide which one I should buy, ES 350 Or GS350?
price is about 7k difference with similair options. I mean I can afford to pay extra 7K to get GS350. But does it worth to do? Any comments?
Thanks
I was looking to buy a Lexus last Nov. It was difficult to make a decision but one thing I noticed when I test drove the ES vs GS, the ES (that has front wheel drive) has the same engine (350) as the GS, but it's geared differently. The GS has rear wheel drive and when accelerating, the GS has more get up and go vs the ES.
When I was test driving the GS from a on ramp to a highway, it was easier to push the engine to get up to speed and merge. The ES was a little less responsive. As I drive a lot of highway miles, that pushed me towards the GS350.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
I have an 07 GS350 AWD and the passing power is awesome and I have yet to really push the car. Merging on a highway ramp is effortless, well worth it. The GS comes with bigger tires & high friction front brakes for more sporty performance. The ES is nothing but a luxury version of Toyota Camry. The ES has a cushier ride vs. GS sporty stiffer ride.

you will feel so disappointed at IS after a long traveling cauz dis car is cramped way to small aint like the GS big and comfortable. i just bought mine gs350 couple month ago everything seems perfect to me.
You can't compare IS to GS it's the same as comparing a BMW 3 & 5 series. They are are diffrent cars, for one the GS has AWD, is larger and more comfortable & more features than an IS. IMO the IS is an entry level car like the BMW 3 series.

teelo, this is kind of off the subject, but do you mind if I ask you around how much you paid for your GS350? I am currently negotiating and was curious what others have paid. I am looking at a similar set-up with the spyder wheels. Thanks, KS.
well I got the 350 AWD model with all options incl. ML Audio and power rear shade, G-spider wheels w/all season run flats. MSRP on this was $55161 and negotiated out the door price of 50K even. Destination is included, have to add tax and tags. Try going towards end of month to deal.

Just ordered my gs350 with M/L & G-spider wheels, does any one know if ride is more bumpier or noisier than stock wheels? And since this is an acessorie bought at time of purchase of car do I get to keep stock wheels/tires? Dealer has told me NO, I think this is unfair since they will restock it and sell in parts dept. for additional profit. Any insight would help.

Try looking wheels up on eBay you can get good stuff for very low prices. I got my GS430 OEM wheels & tires for around $1400 with shipping.
Try Stern wheels. They have a few that fit the the AWD models. I'm having trouble finding the rims also with my Is250 AWD. The front calipers hit too.
You should definately give eBay a try. What I like to do is go to www.tirerack.com find the right wheels and then search them on eBay.
