driver's side front wheel seized up today, one of the pistons is stuck, '93 GS ..any ideas on a solution besides buying a stock caliper at the dealer?

...saw a few websites that sell the piston seperately, does this mean the stuck piston can be replaced? is it a DIY job?

...I was just reading on one of the forums that in order to program a new master key( if i was to get one from the dealer), i'd need to have at least one programmed master key already.

... and it seems the only other solution, without any master keys presently, is to change some computer which costs around $2,000

I have a little problem here, dunno if anyone can help

... I have a '93 Gs300 and locked the main switch(pushed it in) between the Gas tank and trunk releases ... problem is, I only received one key with the car ..I believe this is the valet key since there is no keyless entry button on it ...and it won't unlock the switch, and since the previous owner had removed the trunk lock from the lid, I have no way of getting in the trunk now! :D

I appreciate any suggestions.

..I got the harness from sfxaudio.com but don't think it's the right one, trying to return it, it's the Scosche TA02B wire harness, says 87-up Toyota on the package, but the website advertised it for '93-'97 lexus Gs300.

.. I had a shop install the after market head unit for me today, not the neatest fit though, they used the 98-up lexus gs400 kit ..had to force it to fit. Cost me $75.

..Planned on changing the door speakers, but they sound pretty good now, with the new head unit (JVC KD-S890). They used the 4 RCA outputs from the head unit and wired it thru the factory amp.

Hey all,
anyone with access to the wiring diagram/color codes for a 93 Gs300 radio unit? ..it's the one without CD controls ..I believe the 93-97 all use the same thing.

I bought a wire harness but I don't see any wires for the tweeters nor the sub.

I have 2 12" 4 ohm DVC subs(solo-baric 12L54), and a 2000W 4 CH amp (2 ohm) ...the amp is 1000x2 (4 ohm) bridged ...the question is, what would be the best way to wire this for maximum production?

..I was planning to wire the 2 coils on each sub in parallel which would make them 2 ohm ..and have the amp bridged 1000x2 push them ..but not sure if this would be a problem with the sub at 2ohm and the amp at 4 ohm?

..I welcome any suggestions.

.... but I was looking for an install kit for an aftermarket head unit ... one place I called, the guy told me one of the older model LS carries the same radio, don't know if this is true, and where I can find the LS kit
