  1. The wheels should work fine. Your ride will be comprimised as well as you need to make sure your offsets are set up properly.

    Hello SK,

What would be a super agressive offset for my 99 gs 300 with 20in. 3 piece wheels (below). Im trying to achive a 20x9 front with a 3in. lip and 20x10.5 with a 5in. lip on the rear(no big brake kit). Ive been told that I would need to flare out my fenders to accomodate the extra 1-2 inches of lip and I certanly would mind paying for that.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Can anyone identify the brand of wheel in this ad? The Falken folks were of no help.

The ad was for Falken 452 tires on a Lexus in the June 06 issue of Road & Track.

Not sure what wheel that is but if that is the style you like (mesh) then the work vs-xx wheel is better looking than that one. They come on 3pc chrome silver or yellow with a chrome lip.

  4. post-29629-1159132672_thumb.jpgNew Mod: wheels upgrade from 16 inches to 19 inches.

    245/35/19 in the front.

    275/30/19 in the rear.

    offset: +38 i believe.

    tires: toyo proxes T1R.

    Wheels: HP Design *Lightning*

:) no problems with high speeds. wheels do not shake the steering wheels.

Suprisingly the ride did not change to much. No Rubing or No turning problems. The only thing i might need to do is drop it 1 inch. The Toyo tires are very quiet and responsive. I Did loose a little bit of power of lunges. Will do the Torque Convertere next. followed by headers and mufflers.

The suspension system is still stock.

Over all I think 19 inches are the perfect fit for the SC400.

Nice! I think you should drop the front 1.5 in. and the rear 1in. to give it that agressive look. That would be perfect!!
  5. I have an 95 ls400. I just recently purchased it. Im starting to get that rim feeling again. I know that the ride will be rougher but damn i think it would make the car look that much better. Does anybody know the specs for whats needed to for 95. Would I have to lower my car to avoid a big gap?

    Thanks in advance

1 more thing. Can I put younger ls400 rims on the car, ls430 even

    19s staggered....
