I ended up using 1/2" bulk silicone vacuum hose which hopefully will help someone else out. Fit a little snug on the airbox end, the engine end was just right. Used the existing spring clamp on the airbox end and a new 17mm spring clip on the engine end as that was was missing.
Looking for the hose with the yellow dot in the photo... I thought I had found the correct one but ended up with the hose with the orange dot. Seems most the parts diagrams are crude drawings and I can't determine what the part number for the hose with the yellow dot is!
