  1. Ya, 6 years/90000 miles. Some car companies suggest 60,000. But safe to go with the Lexus recommendation, and you gotta know they left a lot of redundancy in that. If they say 6/90,000 then you gotta know the belt not meant to last at all longer than 12/180. If your that far then you are really on borrowed time lol

    On my 96 LS the recommended replacement time is 10 years or 150.000 km. (Netherlands, Europe), according to the maintenance schedule delivered with the car. Perhaps there are new insights ?

    Hi,

    I have a 96 LS with air suspension. Now the left rear is approx. 2 inches lower than the right rear. Also the suspension feels hard, especially when descending from a bump.

    Question : should the height be adjusted, if so how to do it, or is something broken ?

    Any help appreciated.

    There are vehicle heigth sensors at all four corners, they can be be adjusted to some small extent.

    But it does sound as if your right rear sensor is broken.
