We are getting 23 (mixed driving) 27 on the highway. Actual mileage is about 1mpg less than the computer reports. We are very happy with the actual compared to the EPA estimate. We only have about 1600 miles on the vehicle so far.

This is the part of buying a new car that I dislike the most. Fortunately when I recently bought my RX, the finance guy was at the end of a pretty long day and he didn't even really try. I actually gave him higher marks on my customer survey because he didn't try.

My opinion is that you're going to be hard pressed to find any dealers that are willing to negotiate on the 08's at least until the 07 stock has been depleted. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I don't think it will be easy.
