thanks so much! This worked like a charm. I got a glue gun from Michaels arts & crafts and went to work. I played music with

bass so I could see the tear. I could not see it by a visual inspection at first. I have pictures and a quicktime movie of the process if anyone wants me to email them. Now my sub is fixed and sounds great!

The repair took me about 20 minutes and works.

My LS430 occasionally makes noise from the sway bar bushing in the front. Sounds like a crunching noise; usually when it's cold out and I turn the wheel during parking or tight turns. Last time I had the car in the shop they lubricated the bushing (or the pad I can't remember) and it disappeared. Not sure if the LS400 has the same design but worth a look.

I bought LS430-2002 w/ 70K miles to replace my LS430 total lost three months ago .It's winter and cold now.Every morning, when I start engine, there is a scary, grinding noise from engine which last until

engine warmed up then dissappeared and car back to normal, quiet ,charm the way it should be for a LS430. Checked and replaced all fluid, noise still there every morning. In the past I have LS400 91.94.97, RX300-2000 ,RX330-2004 and 430-2001, never a have that experience?

Any idea , explanation? Your advise will be very appreciated.

Suede or Alcantara? Saw a 2003 on Ebay and noticed the headliner was not the normal stuff.

What else did the UL include besides the rear seat stuff, air suspensn, et cetera.

Hi I just got a Lexus LS430 2001. I noticed how outdated the entire navigation and touch sreen system was (1.0 to be exact) and found a torrent for 7.1. I burned the .iso onto a Verbatim DVD+R DL disc and whenever i inserted the disc it said "No Disc Detected". Same thing happened to me on a 6.1 torrent i found. I am using imgburn and burning the iso images directly to the drive and i am doing everything correctly... any help is appreciated and if anyone has a disc they want to send me by mail that would be amazing. Thanks in advance for any help. Its bull*BLEEP* that these updates cost money when the car costs so much.

Did you ever find a way to update the Nav using the torrent file? I am looking to update my 04 lexus and I really don't want to pay them the 300 for the disc and install!

I have experience with my 2001. Read only original disc, not copied. So have buy new 2009 to update my gen 2/3 .03 version. 2002-2003 can read copied updated gen 2/3 verbatrim dvd. :)
