Are your front tires low on air? If not, it may be a power steering rack or pump.

I think to access this fastener, you need to remove the inner plastic panel on the rear hatch. You probably need to remove the top and side pieces first tho....be careful too, the plastic is kind of fragile... Good Luck

What kind of a dealer do you guys have?? It sounds like your rotors are definatly warped. Any reputable Lexus dealer should replace the front rotors and pads under warranty. At the dealer I work for, we replace front rotors and pads, and even the rears once in a while, some of these dealers are really making Lexus look REALLY bad....

Hey whats up guys... When I do a service on a GX, I take the 2 10mm bolts and the plastic clip out, and then remove the 4 12mms, the plastic splash guard will bend enough to get the pan out of the way, and like you said, they put a tin shield in there to send the oil right in the pan..... Of course, I dont know how easy it would be on the ground, cause i always have the car up in the air on a lift....Good Luck

The starter on your LX is between the cyl. heads. To get at it, remove the intake plenum. Make sure you get the intake gaskets too, and get a good starter....Toyota rebuilt if your budget allows, because you dont want to to this again....Trust me

The E-brake is the same as the foot brake. The e-brake is a different set of shoes, inside the rear rotor. I doubt you did any serious damage, except wear some of the lining down......cant really say anything about the DVD, but what he told you is probably correct.

The check engine light is on because there is a malfunction somewhere in the engine control system. The VSC and TRAC lights are on because the check engine light is on(VSC and TRAC are disabled) Get it checked ASAP, as the 2000 model years did not have a light telling you when to get service. A true 90k with a t-belt is expensive.....probably over 1000, depending on your dealer location.

Try raising or lowering the tire pressure by at least 6 pounds per tire. Then set the tire pressure to your desired pressure. Do this with the ignition switch ON. That should fix your problem

I have seen this problem with the ES 350...what dealer are you taking it to???? They should be trying something....like a reflash for the ECM, or I have heard rumors about replacing the valve body....or even the tranny to fix this!!! What ever they do, if they replace the valve body, make sure they reset the memory for the tranny, or the problem may still occur. These kind of dealers that "cannot duplicate problem" give Lexus a bad name....Good Luck...

Hey there...I can tell you that a t-belt in a GS300 is a quite a job even for a lexus tech....i am thinking that you may be a tooth or two off on the belt...is the check engine light on? Try setting the timing again and reinstalling the belt, lining up the marks on the new belt with the marks on the pulleys. Turn the motor over by hand a few revolutions and look at the timing on the pulleys again(the marks on the belt will not be in the same spot). Good luck..
