We have a new ('08) 350 after having driven over 100k miles in a 2000 RX and never experiencing driver-seat-fatigue.. I agree that the new driver's seat is very uncomfortable. For me, it is butt-numbing on trips over 150 - 250 miles. What a loser!! If I had to do over I would strongly consider a different choice.

I just sold my '00 with 107k and for the most part used Walmart Supertech oil changes. I suppose you could get some good arguments going pro and con. I used Walmart mainly because it was convienent. You can find some excellent mechs and good advise at cartalk.com. By the way, I never had a problem with the engine because of oil or anything else-- just lucky maybe.

Just returned from a round-trip (2500 mi total) in a new 350. The last leg with mid-grade fuel and the cruise-cont. set at 70mph yielded 31+ mpg. On one leg we used mid-grade ethenol (10%) and got 24/25 mpg. For me the choice, every other tank, is straight mid-grade. Hope this helps, Argo
