I'm posting this for my dad. He owns a 2002 LS430 and both motors that operate the steering wheel no longer work. They both went out at the same time. He checked the fuses and they are fine. Though somtimes he can manually adjust the steering wheel and the motor kicks in slightly. Is this something wrong with the switch or are the motor(s) completly shot.

I have a 1992 sc300. It failed the emissions test and I replaced the EGR valve, Oxygen sensor and catalytic converter. After that the car passed the emissions test by i got a new problem.

When I take the car from rest and drive for like 5 minutes or so - till the engine gets hot and then when i stop at a traffic light I can feel the car vibrate and the idling is rough. If i take my foot off the brake the car really vibrates I mean it jerks while going forward.

Any idea what is going on and what i need to do to get it fixed?

Run and OBDI on it to see if any of your sensors pop up. Chances are your TPS (throttle position sensor) is faulty. How's your gas mileage

I need to replace the bulb on my driverside taillight... The indicator light on the instrument panel came on. I went into the trunk and when the remove the cover but couldn't get to the actual light bulb. Anybody have a writeup? or pics to do this?

The trunk button inside my car won't open my trunk... i have to use my key to open it... is there a fuse or some kind of thing that would fix it?

I just bought my Lexus SC300 and i didn't have an ebrake boot for it... does anybody know where i can get one?

Once the 12 disc changer fails they are not worth fixing. The 12 disc fujitsu changers are the worst changer lexus ever put in there cars. I can get you a lexus 6 disc that is plug and play with the bracket which allows you to mount it vertical or horizontal. Reply to this post, email me or pm me if interested.

How much are you asking for a 6 disc ES300 changer?

My SC300 has a 12 disc cd changer and i put some of my burned cd-r cd's in there to see the letters "err" displayed on the screen inside my car... so i swapped it out to some store bought cd's and i saw the same "err" message. What's wrong with my unit??

If it's broken, what should i do to fix it or what should i buy in replacement of it?

you sure it's not your fuel injectors. It could be the TPS but if worse comes to worse i'd do a fuel injector cleaner additive to your gas tank

Hey everyone, my name is Luke. I'm from Greenville, NC and i'm a senior at East Carolina University. I just bought a 1996 Lexus SC 300. I just sold my 1991 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. I love the Z cars with a passion, but i'm really starting to enjoy the prestige of driving a Lexus just like my dad's LS 430 and my mom's ES 330.
