If anyone has a GS with NAV, they can tell me if this is normal. The dealer is telling me it is, but I don't think they are right.
I think the dealer is wrong. My 06 GS 450h certainly "remembers" the a/c auto mode after the car is switched off and then back on again. The only time it doesn't is when I turn off the a/c altogether and then turn it back on. In this case it just operates in the last mode that it was in. In other words...the way yours operates seems exactly opposite to the way mine operates. I hope this helps.
