  1. Hey that looks sharp, good idea. I think I'll resort to PGSbergs method if it come down to the law. For the mean time I'm going to continue my search for this offset bracket. If it doesnt look good, hey, its only 15 bucks right?

On a side note, those are some dirty shammies, I can spot a dirty shammy from a mile away, has something to do with working the free Sat washes for the passed 7 years! and counting! but seriously I'd never use a sham like that on any Lexus.

Where are you looking?? Are you seeing the 3M bra on the front end of the car?? No shammies in this house ;)

A friend saw my Lexus and was wondering where the front plate was. Told him didn't want to put holes in the bumper and was going to gimmy rig something for it. He told me he's seen a "JDM" offset plate bracket for the IS 2 that attaches underneath the front bumper to specifically avoid holes! I've looked for a long time on the internet, and cant find anything. Does anyone else know about this product?

I live in Washington State and the front license plates are required. So, I had the license plate mounting piece painted to match the car.

    Best of Luck

  3. I was experiencing roughly the same issues as 'Cherokee' in another post

However, my was fixed with a New CD from Lexus just for this problem. Once the problem was fixed after the download, I can no longer use the over ride for navigation usage for over than five miles per hour.

Any ideas?? (I did look over the last several weeks into months of post and was not able to locate this particular issue, but would be grateful for the direction if I overlooked)

  4. Friday... In Boston... My nav seemed to be !Removed! up... had me on a different street etc..

Well yesterday I was on my way up to Portland, ME for a party.... right past NH it had me off the coast about 40 miles....

When i was at my destination... I tried to "Calibrate" it... but in 5 miles it had me off another 50 miles......

Is this something I should take to the dealer? Something else I could try?

    Cherokee:

Have a 2006 IS350 that experienced the same issue....took it to the dealer and had a new Navigation CD installed, not the entire navigation system. Works great now! It was fixed just two weeks ago tomorrow.

    Good Luck!

  6. Hello.

I bought Brand New Lexus IS350 15 days ago. When I bought my car, it was so dark night, so I just bring my IS350 without checking. However, next day I found big three scratch on trunk and a lot of slight scratch entirely, so I went to Lexus of Bellevue and claimed to my sales manager, so he promised me he will fix my car for sure, so I waited the day of fixing day.

But, they couldn't fix my car and offer me very low quality service.

When I told about my car's problem, the salesman was angry with me and he was very rude.

And Lexus of Bellevue rent me corolla when my car was fixing.

When they sold this car, they was kind, but now their service is worst.

I told them I want to change my car to a non scratch car, but they told me pay more than 2000 dollars.

I heard the service of Lexus is very good, but in my experience, it's worst.

How do you think about this?

If you furchase a brand new car and find big scratch next day, what will you do and what will you request to te dealership?

Currently, I have got stress a lot since the day of purchasing IS350.

I have big problems that I can't speak English well, and I don't know about American dealerships' service because I am an international student and I live in Seattle only 6 month.

Please, help me. Give me some advice, please.

Lexus of Bellevue does give POOR service and their sales floor is really no better! We purchased our IS350 from Lexus of Tacoma. These two dealerships are actually owned by the same group, but the service and care that we have received from Lexus of Tacoma is FAR SUPERIOR to Bellevue. Call them 253.922.7100. We had some issues with our new car and the body kit. Lexus of Tacoma bent over backwards to make us happy.

    Best of Luck!

  7. Hi, I am a new comer. I just want to ask if anyone has ever installed a 3M clear bra on their car? I am considering putting one on my car but I just wonder how does it work? Can it be uninstalled easily without damaging the paint? Thanks!

I have the 3M bra and mirror on my IS350 Red. A rock hit the hood two days after I received the car and the 3M saved the car. My dealer has a four year warranty on the product, so it was replaced for free. I would have to agree with the other posts, spend the money and safe guard the car.

  8. I have the 2006 IS350 Red with full body kit. The front has gap problems in the front corners and the rear will be a cleaning nightmare; due to the way this fits to the car the dirt, rain, etc. comes in from the top. Because of these problems, my dealership had the car taken to a body shop where all the add on's are now one. Careful with the add ons. In my opionion, without making them one peice (bumper + body kit) you will have problems. The sides do not need to be dealt with at the body shop as they bolt on clean and tight. Now that all the work has been completed....it is going back to the dealership because of paint chip problems between add on's and original body panels. We will see what the out come is when the fix is done. Outside of those problems, the car looks AWESOME with the kit! I also chromed the wheels and tinted the windows.
