  1. Due to some rather poor engine performance (14 MPG) and recently replacing the tires and changing the oil, I felt that the problem might lie with a dirty air filter. I went out and got the air filter today, and went under the hood. I found the four clips that were holding the box down and unclipped them, but the part that attaches to the air filter house prevents me from moving the cover enough to remove the old filter or put in the new filter. Is there anything I need to unscrew or remove in order to get access to the air filter?

  2. I just fixed my door today. (It would not open from the outside.)

It required me removing the interior trim. I was very cautious while doing this.

Now, when I hit my lock button on my key, the doors lock - unlock - and then lock again finally making the beep noise. It will not however unlock using the key button. I can lock it fine from the inside and use the key to manually unlock it on passenger side. Is there something I should go back into my door and look for?

    If so what is it?

    Thanx

Like the above poster said its probably just a bad battery. By the way was it difficult removing the panel to repair the door? My front passanger door has the same problem, my mechanic fixed it, but it broke again in the same day because he didn't replace the part just "fixed" it.

  3. Glad to see there are some honest people out there. While your rates woiuldn't immediately go up, if people kept making claims like this everyone is going to have to pay. It's like how half my neighborhood got their siding replaced after a non-existent hail strom with the insurance company footing the bill to send to the same contractor.

  4. Hello everyone, this is my first post here and I currently drive a 1996 ES300. It has some pretty good wear on it (155K miles). Anyway I decided I wanted to do a nice detailing job to sharpen the apperance. I've gone through many of the articles on this site and read many of the recommendations, but buying all the various products from different sites gets very expensive especially with shipping. I saw this product bundle from Costco, it seems to have most products similar to the ones recommended. I was just wondering if you guys with more experience can testify to the effectiveness for these products and if it's a good value.

    Thanks in advance!
