  1. I've been driving my 06 IS 250 MT for like 2 months now. and im lovin it especially now that I can drive a MT transmission smoothly. I use the freeway all the time coz my work is like 20 miles from home. I usually go home from work around 2 am so that means the freeway is all mine. there are times that I pushed it to 100 mph and I'm so impress coz its the same feeling like when you're on 60 mph.

i have another car which is a 05 accord coupe. I became so attached to my Is that I think I'm still in it when I'm goin to drive another car. Like the push button start, the keyless entry. I also notice that more cars like to tailgate on me. I'm not sure if they are curious about my car's model or maybe they just want to take a look closer or something. Another thing is other sporty cars always want to race with me. I drive for fun but i'm not into racing. actually even a family van a while ago is like provoking me to race with him!!!

And if you like asian women this is a perfect car. Because in my case, i already went out with 3 asian chix since I got this car so far

Even my lifestyle changed too. Like right now i often go shopping to buy more decent clothes to match my car.

  2. Like what SW03ES said "If power and a manual is extremely important to you, you're not the buyer Lexus is targeting with this car."

The new Is. has much to afford than just that. If your looking in just horsepower, try focusing on american cars. All their cars are all pure power. !Removed! are turbo/supercharge.

And for those ppl that compare Is. with other cars like S4, M3, STi. You guys are totally comparing the wrong car with the Is. First you look into the price range. So TL, G35, IS, 330, etc. all those come into mind when comparing.

tats right dude. the first thing to do is to go by the prices... you are'nt going to compare a 30k car to a 40k car.. so if you want to compare M3 or S4 to a lexus, don't look on IS... compare it with the GS. i guess that is fair enough..

  3. while we were in the dealership, one of the salesman was looking something that looks like a credit card inside the brochure. He said that you can still access your car even without the rremote control. and you can even keep that card in your wallet too. mine is an 2006 IS 250 manual transmission.

is that card included in every 2006 IS models?
