the "lextasy" intake is the proper way to get added rwhp and also you won't sound like a honda :chairshot: . The air doesnot get the chance to speed up, the carbon fiber intake is engineered to keep the air from speeding up causing fault codes. Get ahold of steve you won't be dissapointed

nope mass air flow is fine. Air moving past mass air flow sensor to fast. The 2jz's run lean stock anyways. This is run by a butterfly vlave in the intake manifold. Slow the air down. 3 inch intake that is longer than 30 inches. here is the link to teck site for this issue.

Good luck

Once you start you can't s top, $10k later I am still adding stuff. 500 hrs power! I can't control my car past 400 rwhp, even with 265's on the rear. Besides at 350 the car snap's your neck so har you think you have been rear ended. :D

This is due to the fact that the air is moving past your O2 sensor to fast. It makes your car go lean. Therefore it flashes a fault code. Short air is the worst you can do. My car has been custom turbo'd. The ambiant air under the hood is around 250 degree's. So the key to making a "cold air" intake work is get it to pull the air from outside the engine bay. Before my car was turbo'd I had a hole cut through the fender where my sock air box sat. It gave me a 9 horse power increase.

congrat's. welcome to the big wide world of is300's. There is so much that you can do to these cars. honda guys will hate you because, well chick's like the look of a lexus much better than the nasty look of a riced out honda.
