  1. You should get the SRT intake. I don't have one on my 01 GS3, but I've read that it adds some good power and even has an ECU that changes the fuel delivery for power and better fuel economy. They say it adds about 30+ hp and 40+ torque. That will run you about $450-550 depending where you shop. I know lextasy.com, luxurymods.com, and l-tuned.com have them. You might also want to look into a torque converter, but that will run you about $800-900 for a good one. You could do a Borla, A'PEXi, or HKS exhaust. About $550-650. Just remember you also have to pay for the labor unless you can do it yourself. But all these mods could give about 100hp or so.

I have a used srt intake and ecu just removed from my 01 GS3 that i am looking to sell for about $325 shipped. This intake with ecu gives u 22hp and 24lbft. It is a good investment to make if u r looking for a quick power boost. The only reason i had it removed is because I just installed an LMS Supercharger kit. This kit definitely makes up for the lack of power. 300rwhp 320rw lbft.

hay white diamond01 where did you get your supercharger from, i also have a 01 GS3 and im thinking of getting a supercharger, i thought they didn't make one for the GS3.

Sorry I took so long 2 respond I havn't been on 4 a while. I got the SC from Luxury Motor Works the kit that is used for the IS is also used 4 da GS.

  2. When I say I could push in on the piston or shock rod, I mean I could compress it all the way. I don't see how the shock absorber could possibly be of any use with this being the case. I am no expert but common sense tells me that if I can fully compress the shock absorber with the weight of my two arms (no more than probably 40lbs of pressure and probably less) then, even taking into consideration the springs provide dampening, I don't see how the shock absorbers could be effective hardly at all.

I mean were talking about aprox. 3700lbs.

Anyone who wants to chime in here, feel free.

I would love to hear any other thoughts as well.

Well u have 2 remember that the gs rides on struts with springs. With a car that uses struts it puts the majority of the weight onto the springs. The shock is just there to flex and absorb a bump. If ur shocks r bad u r going 2 feel the full force of the bump as the springs are pushing directly on the chassis. With the shock working properly it acctually slows the spring rate to absorb the bump. So with most kinds of stuts if there is no spring to support it u can just push it down with no problem. My uncle has been working on Toyota/Lexus for the past 17 years so he explained the whole thing to me. He recently istalled L-tuned shoks and springs on my 01 GS3 the ride is better than evr.

  3. Taggar, if you would like to trade for the clear lights let me know. E-mail me Malafe2k@hotmail.com.

You could get a McCulloch 3000k HID kit for the fogs. I did and the yellow is brighter than ever. These kits run around $300 on ebay

McCulloch are not as bright as Piaa's. But piaa's only sell hid bulbs not ballast. So what I did want I went to buy 2 JDM ballast and brought the piaa bulbs. But that cost me $650. total. That alot of money compare to ebay but it was brighter than the McCulloh I had before.

I agree the piaa are alot brighter but they also cost alot more. Too rich 4 my blud
