Has anyone have their wireless remote set to open windows and moon roof? Owners manual page 41 says if can be done however deal says it does not have this function? RX350 2010

My RX (2007 RX350 w/2,000 miles) when in first gear (when stepping on the gas padel at start) feels like the 1st gear is not in place and sound like when you step on the gas padel when it is in Park mode.

And also, it feels like the gears are shipping a bit late then normal....

Anybody experienceing this problem?

I have an 07 350 AWD and on two occasions with the engine warm, the engine rev's up momentarily with no movement. 2k on car also, could prove dangerous it pulling into traffic.

I don't think that's it, on a residential streets there's an awful lot of dots yet nowhere one can possible enter or exit mid block. On the freeways It's evenly spaced but not a on of off ramp. Residential areas spaced like

. . . .... .. .. .... .. ...... . . ... . and freeways like . . . . . . with about a 1/2 inch between ea dot.

Small white dots with red pinpointed centers located right on the line indicating indicating a roadway.

What do the small white dots with a red centers on the route streets and neighboring freeways mean? On the freeways they seem to be evenly spaced and residential street the spacing varies, sometimes clustered. Unable you find answer in manual.

I am an owner of 2007 RX 350. It has less than 10000 on odometer and recently noticed some rettling sound coming from somewhere inside the dashboard when the road is less than perfect. In addition, there is also a noise coming from front passenger's air vent every time the road is rough. It might be due to material use in those areas. Thought about taking a car to a dealer but what they going to do, put the dash apart?

Anybody experienced anything similar.

I would greatly appreciate any input on how to fix this.

Less than 1000 miles (RX350 AWD) and my rattle seems to be coming from the left front dash or drivers door and from above the navigation. From past experience with another vehicle I’m not excited about having the service department removing the dash or components.

If you have it checked out, please post results.

How important is the Lexus survey and if you down grade the dealership how will this affect your relationship with this dealership if service needs to be done?

Do you currently own one and are considering upgrading or are you considering buying one for the first time? You should simply extensively test drive one first, not everyone has issues with the hesitation, personally it doesn't bother me, and personally I think some of the people that go on and on about the hesitation are being a little over dramatic. The only way to know for sure though is to drive one extensively before you buy.

The hesitation issue isn't unique to the Lexus though, its common on vehicles with these new throtte by wire systems, I had a Mazda 6 as a loaner that had a TERRIBLE hesitation, and I've felt the hesitation/heard people complain about it in Fords, Nissans, BMWs, Audis, VWs, Hondas, so on and so forth.

I’ve taken two test drives. The problem is both salespeople controlled the test drive environment. I gather most people drive around the block a few times and buy.

What I need is to find is a dealership with a demo I can test under the conditions I normally drive.

Just read a post elsewhere in which the owner of a new 2006 Sienna was wondering if the TSB would help prevent the problem they were experiencing. So apparently the 06's are being shipped from the factory with the same, or much the same, hesitation problem.

Does the Lexus extended warranty cover the NAV or stereo systems?

Can someone update the extent of the transmission hesitation problem in the 2006 ES330? Has the problem been solved or is it as noticable in the 06 as in other year models?

Well we'd all like to have a new ES & you're bound to have gotten a great deal on it with the impending new platform.

Only you can say if you made the right choice. It doesn't really matter what anyone else things.

It's impossible to put teflon on paint. Despite what anyone says, to bond teflon to a surface requires several hundred *F at some point.

Give the paint a month, clean it several times with dish washing soap to strip any wax from the paint & put on one of the bras made out of clear plastic film. 3M makes one & another company makes a good one too (Sorry I forget the name).

Is there a problem buying a new vehicle at an out of the area dealership and having it serviced at a local dealership? If you have warranty issues with a new vehicle will the service department of the non-selling dealership treat you different than if you bought the car there?
