Our 2002 RX300 just developed an airbag blinking light fault on the dash warning lights. I've looked through the forum, and it seems that there was a possibility of resetting this by disconnecting the battery for a minute or so, and reconnecting.

This didn't work - the vehicle has never been in an accident, nor had any service that would require touching the airbag, sensors, seatbelts, etc.

The light simply started blinking; any advise out there greatly appreciated (aside from..."don't look at it"!)

I understand that the sensor could be faulty - is that something that Lexus would normally cover? 58K miles since new - always $erviced by Lexu$.

Just bought 2000 rx 300 with 77000 miles. One problem is that it only came with one key. Where can I find another one? I called the dealer and he has one for about $200.00. We have a 98 ex 300 with an extra remote. Anyway the remote will work with the RX? ds

i think you can pick one up on ebay for cheaper price.

i still havent seen these suckers work...

On our 05m RX 330 the chrome bezel below the wood shifter knob is loose and there is about a quarter inch gap. Does anyone know how to correct this...the knob is tight and the bezel is loose.

i got the same problem with the wifes 330, is there a fix for this? or is this normal?

Unibody, it shares a basic platform with the ES, Camry, Highlander, Avalon, and Sienna minivan. Most SUVs are unibody nowadays.

why unibody? arent frame built alot safer than unibody? need input please....................

are the RX unibody or built on frame? help...................

well, looking around february to buy a brand new rx330, my question is how much does everybody pay for regular maintenance(oil change)? is the 2007 model have the coach leather in them?(ive been told by the dealer that it is, or was he pulling my wifes leg since she was using one of her coach purses at the time of looking at the vehicle), will the look of the rx change in 2008 or anytime soon? sorry for all the questions just concern about it...it will be our first lexus...thanks for the help...

that sounds like a pretty good deal to me, if its loaded with mark levinson and all that jazz. you can try to shop around, maybe call another dealership if yo uare unhappy with the price.

i have never heard anything about lexus leather coming from coach purses...im going to say NO though, lol

edit: looked it up, the coach edition cars only appeard in two models. the ES300 and early RX300 models. they are no longer like that.

does that mean, the guy was blowing smoke up my wazoo?

we liked everything, looked at an rx350...except talking to a salesman...

is 46g too much for a loaded rx350? can i get one cheaper somewhere else? and is it true they use leather from coach purses?

I was wondering what ages you guys/gals are in this forum who own and personally drive your rx300. I just feel like an outcast because i am a 21 year old male who drives an rx300...I feel that, typically, people of my age are in sports cars from honda civics to 3 series bimmers.

by the way, the other alternative to my rx300 was the 3.2 TL type-S...i loved the feel/comfort of the rx300 as soon as i sat in the seat compared to the TL.

I am 55 and was 49 when I bought my RX300. I was into sports cars for years and repaired, raced, and restored british sports cars. MG, Triumph, and Jaguar. moving into Honda's and finally the Lexus. Hope you have the two wheel version for your transmission sake. Good Luck

why did you say 2wheel version for your trannys sake, what is wrong with the AWD? need your opinin on this, wife is getting ready to commit to the rx330 AWD...

so next year would be a bad year to buy an rx? :(
