I am thinking about a new GS 300.  Was wondering about remote start. I have it on my old car and love it. I think there may be an issue with it not actually having an ignition. Anyone else run across this or know some one who does it?/

i recently purchased a 06 gs300 but u r correct in assuming without a standard ignition that remote start is not possible. this was much to my dismay as it is getting colder. hopefully there will be some developments from lexus re: this issue

I know, unfortuanately that the 2006 gs300 with the marklev system does not play mp3 files, but i know it plays dvd-audio. anyone know how to format or burn a disc to hold a lot of music but play on this system. i basically need to know what coding (i.e. mp3, wav, wma...) to use for the files on the DVD disc so that it will play on the MarkLev system. really appreciate the help - this has been the only dissappoinment so far on the car. thanks

Hi - just wanted to thank blue06gs for the great bypass for dvd and dialing. only took bout an hour goin slow and it works absolutely perfect. no one should be hesistant to try this bypass. good luck and thanks!
