  1. Does anyone have an unlock code or other solution to allow entering data into the Lexus' navigation and telephone entry while the vehicle is moving. I also own a Honda Accord with navigation and it is not a problem on that vehicle for the driver or passenger to keystroke while the vehicle is moving. I understand the safety implications, but an adult capable of operating a motor vehicle should also be able to exhibit enough common sense to safely operate a navigation system while the car is moving. Any answers.

  2. I have roughly 1200 miles on my rx400h. I do a 40 mile commute to work on the I-495 beltway around DC. This drive goes from highway speeds to a slow crawl at a moment's notice. While there are many things I don't like about the rx400h

( the navigation software and lack of ability to change a destination or dial-up a phone number while moving), the mileage has been pretty true to the claims so far. Averaging between 27 and 29 according to the display. I do around 65mph on the beltway when traffic permits and many cars are flying by me at 80 mph.

These people are the first to complain about gas prices at $3.59 per gallon, yet operate their vehicles inefficiently.

  3. Hey guys, I'm new here. Hopefully picking up my Rx400 tonight or tomorrow. I say hopefully only because I'm a bit concerned about the anger and issues concerning the overblown gas mileage figures Lexus put out that no one's RX is living up to. That's not my question what I'm trying to find out is if you can watch DVDs on the navigation screen? My dealer doesn't have the RX I want with the rear seat DVD so he offered to install one that they put in other Lexus cars for me, bigger screen and all that. I asked if I can watch on the front Nav screen and he said he doesn't think so. basically that's my question, can you with the stock rear DVD system and doesn't anyone have an aftermarket version that allows you to do so. Thanks.
