You should Google Gary Summers and AuralVision a new approach to the in-car audio experience. It's not an aftermarket install, it's a play to get the manufacturers to build it from the ground up with a new vehicle. I've heard it in his prototype vehicle (Mercedes C230 Sport) and it beats anything that I've heard in terms of "premium systems" from manufacturers. He's a four-time Academy Award winner for best sound and car audio is his passion/hobby. You can find him on imdb.com as well. 

I'm considering this for a 2005 RX330. Connects to OBD port. When removed car resorts back to factory settings.

I've cleaned the MAF sensor and believe it made a big difference. From what I can measure about an improvement of about 6mpg.
