i know this an old post but i am having the same problem. did anybody consider the igniter that sits right by the front strut tower?
I have a 1998 and i'm starting to have the same problems. i've put in new coils, spark plugs and cables and still having the same issues. when you replace the igniter did it fixs the problem?
