Same general topic, but I have a somewhat different question.

I bought my 99 GS used from a dealership, and it has that ugly white dealership logo on the trunk lid, just under the "Lexus" logo. Will the "Goo Be Gone" work on this too?  Any suggestions would help. I'm trying to get it off this weekend.

Yep, should come off with very little effort. What ever seems to be a little stubborn, take a small sponge soaked a bit with Goo-Gone and hold it there to work for a minute. I've used it on my motorcycles and other vehicles, good stuff.

I have been reading this forum sometimes until 4 or 5 in the morning!!! It's GREAT, but I have a question about this claying procedure. I have seen here in several post that some of you use your clay with soapy water, while you're washing. I just purchased my first clay kit, Mothers. reading the instructions, they say in bold letters, "DO NOT USE WITH WATER!!!". Do you guys know something that they don't or are they just trying to secure more sales for their Showtime QD? My car is Diamond Pearl, even after going through all of the steps, will the difference really be that noticeable with this color?

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and I looking for some info about installing a custom steering wheel on my 95 GS 300. Has anyone here done this mod? What hub kit did you use? I have a brand new solid mahogany steering wheel that will look SUPER in my car if I can make the install! Thanks for your help. I will also post pics of my car when I get a chance, looks pretty good, pearl white over silver, Kumho's, 17" Italia AT's, mostly stock but very clean!
