I just put a DVD nav reciever into a 2005 GX 470.  What after market unit are you putting in? Does your truck have factory nav?  I got a Clarion NX605 from crutchfiels.com and I had to get two extra interface boxes to make it work. One made the steering wheel controls  work and the other adjusted the sound output levels to work with the factory amps. 

 we We got a 2006 gx470 for my wife that did not come with navigation.  We want to put an aftermarket navigation in it and I found one on Crutchfield.com, but they say there is no dash adapter avalible and we should get a install shop to fabricate one for us.  So, what are some good sources for an install kit?
