  1. I leased a 2003 IS300, I know its not THAT current but just to give you an idea. I put down 18000 and i have the 48 month lease with 10K miles per year and my monthly payments are 85 dollars.

Out of curiosity, don't you feel like you're just throwing that money away? After all, the $18000 you put down is the total depreciation on the car if not more on a four year lease. Then you're paying an extra $85 a month. :whistles:

  2. I am in the market for a new car and am strongly considering an IS300, but I when I went to an Lexus dealer on Saturday I was quoted a really high number (a little over $500 a month on a 48 month lease with $0 down) on a base Lexus IS300 with automatic transmission. If anyone has leased a new IS300 recently and wouldn't mind sharing what they pay a month for a lease I would greatly appreciate it because I want to figure out if I will be able to afford to lease an IS300 or not. Thanks for the help...

I leased a 2005 IS in February fully loaded for $365/month. I got a 48 mo. lease at 15K miles a year. I used their option for multiple security deposits you are able to get back at the end of the lease. I put the maximum of around $3500 into that. Hope that helps.

  3. What about those of us who prefer the way the older IS looks? I would think for those who favor the older design, the market would be stronger as far as selling a 2005 or earlier model.

  4. I have a 2004 IS300 that I just purchased and I need to replace the tires.  I've done some research, but I want some first hand advise from people w/the same car.  I need a GOOD all-season tire (17" rims) that will get me through the spring, summer, and fall in New England.  Any suggestions?  Anything I should avoid?  Any advise would be helpful.

When I bought my IS300, I got it with two sets of tires, high performance tires and all season tires. The all season tires were Dunlop Graspic 215/45R17 low profile tires. They worked pretty well in the snow. As far as how well they hold up, I couldn't tell you because I have only been through one winter with them. Hope that helps a little.

  5. Not sure if this helps or even applies, but I just recently purchased a 2005 IS and did not receive much of a discount. I got it for $31,000 which was about $3,000 below the MSRP. Certainly not a bad deal at that price, but I don't think they discounted based on the new IS being released. Then again, I have never been able to get the best deals when buying cars.
