  1. So I ran the resonator delete for awhile and I began to hate it.  At times it sounded like a beater car that needed a new muffler.  I ended up installing a high flow resonator.

My suggestion is not to do the resonator delete, just go right to the high flow resonator.  Save your money.

  2. So I wanted to give my car a little more sound so I went with the resonator delete with stock exhaust.

I know the work was done properly because I went to a reputable exhaust shop.

There are times when I punch it that there is a knocking/clanging/rattle noise from the exhaust. All other times it sounds great.

I really don't know why it makes that rattle noise.

As per my dash display, fuel economy has gone to crap. It reads 13L/100km. I wad consistently between 10L and 11L. I'm not sure why it's worse.

The car seems to have more power  which is an added bonus..

  4. Hi everyone,

    This is my first post.

I've looked for information on the Awd system for the IS but I can't find a clear answer.

Assuming the diameter of the wheels is almost the same, is there an issue running wider tires in the rear, like a 295?

Some have suggested a square set up, others say tire width is not an issue.

If I missed a thread on this topic please let me know.
