I went and got the AC expansion valve issue fixed.

And now the keyless remote doesnt work. I had replaced the battery 2 weeks ago.

Maybe the mechanices forgot to reconnect a wire? From what I saw, they were working behind the glovebox and the passenger side of the engine bay.

Anyone know what could be the case?

You could try re-programming the remote. The instructions are somewhere on this forum. It isn't very

difficult, & my Toyota Dealer wanted $45 to do it. Good Luck. Mike

I've never seen any strut mount caps on ANY ES300. I looked in numerous parts sites and I've failed to locate any. I would highly doubt they have them for your car, or the Camry for that matter.

I know I saw them on the Park Place Lexus parts website. They were about $40 each. Check the website.

I tend to forget I have that key in my wallet. About 6 months ago I was going crazy because I couldn't find my keys. My husband had the second set with him and I thought I was out of luck getting anywhere with my car. I eventually found my keys. But through the whole ordeal, I never thought about the wallet key.

As far as a hide-a-way key holder, I would never think to use one as I figure a thief would be looking for that very thing.

Back side of license plate would be perfect. However my magnetic hide-a-key from the unnamed discount store

will not stick. There still must be some other metal surface available. Thanks again, Mike

I have a '99 ES300 & cannot find a place to mount a magnetic hide-a-key. There must be a simple way to find some exterior metal. Any suggestions? Thanks
