  1. Does Anyone know what the largest size rim you can fit on a 05' GX without any major modifications? I went to a rim place and the guy told me he can get me 22' rims for the GX but he has to modify the wheel wells.

  2. Go back to the Vais website and look carefully at all the adaptors they offer. They make an AC-100 which is just and audio interface. The module allows you to hook up two seperate audio sources. The module has 2 sets of RCA inputs. I got one recently and I use one set for my MP3 player (I got an adapter that goes from headphone jack to RCA) and the other set I use for my DVD player for audio only. You switch between sources from your steering wheel and its a direct connection to the radio so you don't get any audio noise, loss or interferance. Sounds and works great! Heres the link to the website http://www.vaistech.com/aic100.html

    Good luck

  3. I just got off the phone with a man from North Carolina who works directly with the CEO of Verizon Wireless, (910 794-6200) He assured me they are working with motorola to upgrade the software so the V710 will work "properly"  with not only Lexus, but with BMW and Chrysler.  He could not give me a date certain, but hopes for "the next few weeks".  He said this is a serious problem and they are taking it seriously.

  5. Hello all,

I just got my Vaistech AIC-100I in and I'm ready to install it in my 2005 GX with Nav. The unit is plug-n-play. So all I need to know is, has anyone pulled the radio out of the dash? Is it difficult? I was also wondering if I need to pull the whole command center out or are the plugs I need behind the lower deck radio that has the cassette player in it? From what I can see it looks like I need to remove the trim bezel on the sides of the shifter first. Anyway, if anyone has taken the dash apart or has any info on how to remove the radio and /or the command center your help is much appriciated. Or maybe I should take it to a professional. Thats what Vaistech told me. (No way) I told him....Theres nothing but chop shops with a 17 year old's working there in my area. Unless I try the dealer or tweeter maybe. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! :o
