Is the ECU fuse you're talking about in the fuse box, or on the ECU itself?

I am going to put a K&N cone type filter replacement in my car. I've researched the typhoon, and other short ram/cold air intakes and they don't seem to be much punkin (as they say on the farm ). My question is: Do I need to unplug the ECU in order to reset it after I change my paper filter with the K&N?

I just put some Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil in my IS 300 yesterday...just wondering what kind of mileage others are/have been getting from synthetics. That is, if any of you are using them.
