JDHGS300

Hello all. I recently purchased my 2003 GS300 and it looks as well as drives absolutely superb. However, when breaking, the car seems to appy pressure on its own as it slows towards the final stop in so muchas I have to significantly release the pedal swiftly or it stops as if I almost pressed the pedal down stronger. Also driving at higher speeds and have to slow due to an emergency, the breaks lock and will skid. Is this breaking normal with this model? My girlfriend drives a 2004 LS400 and...
