  1. I like that Bomex fron bumper and rea, but the only thing i really dont liek about it is the side skirts, in my opinion they look kinda funky......iw as just wondering, is it possible to just buy the bomex fron bumper and rear, and just use some different type of side skirts, without the car lookin weird? Because im getting ready to purchase a body kit soon, and I just wanna know if it is possible...

  2. Ok, the two highbeam lights (the 2 circled ones inbetween the headlights) on my 93 sc400 are dirty as hell and i really want to clean them, but I was told the only way u can take them off was by removing the bumper. So i was wondering if anyone out there had like a start up tutorial on how to remove the front bumper?.....thanks in advance

  3. Ok I bought this Sc400 a couple of months ago, and I noticed that on some of the car windows (mostly the right and rear windows) there are some marks that look like dried water beads, and im thinking that the original owner letf it in the rain a lot and didnt clean it...so im trying to figure out what I can use to remove these damn clear spots that look like waterbeads on my windows, and help please........thanks.....

  4. Mine had the same problem, and I checked the rotors and the cap, and they were rusted and corroded. I bought new rotors, and new rotor caps, and my problem went away. I thought It was a wire or something, but after i fixed the rotor problem, everything went away. Myc ar hasnt done that in the past 5 months since it last did it, so u might wanna check that out really quick, u never know.

  5. ok, I know theres plenty of help manulas on removing the headlights, but I havent found anywhere were they show how to remove the highbeam lights i.e. the whole thing, not just the light, because theyre kinda yellowish and i want to clean them. My head lights are fine, i just have to clean those damn high beam lights...

and also, anyone know how to remove the cornering lights at the bottom of the front bumber?? I want to remove the scratches and put in white lights instead of the yellow one it has....

    thanks...

  6. Ok, the black plastic or whatevers its called inside of my SC 400 is kinda faded away (you know the area around the stereo unit, a/c unit and the gear shift). what kinda product can I use to restore the faded black to make it look a bit newer?

Also, anyone know how to get some stains off the speaker grills??

  7. Ok, the other day my a/c was working perfect, nice cold air and all, but just yesterday, the whole air unit won't turn on. You know how theres usualy a green light indicating the flow of the air, even when it is off, well that doesnt tunr on either, im guessing its a burnt out fuse. The only problem is, i dont have the owners manual.

How can I check if the fuse is burnt out and which one is the fuse in the fuse box, or any other places I can check to see whats wrong, I know its nothing major, i just need to pin poin the problem, and without the manula its kinda tough........thanks for the help

  8. Ok i have a 93 SC400 and my problem is that the dash lights that light up the speed numbers and rpm stuff dont light up on one side, and Im pretty sure the bulb went out. I want to know if anyone knows how to fix this problem i.e removing the dash to install a new bulb, or if the owners manula gives any info on this problem since I dont have the manual, I would appreciate the help a lot.

  9. Well, first of all I just want to say this is a great site for all lexus owners, the mods are doing a great job running this place.

But back to my question, I recently bought a 93 sc 400, low miles, still in great condition. But the only question I have is that in the dash on the left upper corner, there is this light that lights up in orange (I dont have the owners manual, so i dont know what it stands for) and looks like a palace, roman type design of some sort( thats the best description i have  ), I was guessing it was the radiator, but everything is ok, can anyone help me out here? I'd appreciate it a lot.....
