  1. Can someone recommend a good detail shop in Redmond/Bellevue/Woodinville or Downtown Seattle? I previously used a company called Mirrorworks that did a great job on my black LS430 (2005). They are recommending a place (interestingly enough, in the same exact location) called Northwest Auto Salon. Unfortunately, their Magnolia location is really inconvenient for me so I'm trying to look at alternatives.

I have heard very good things about Northwest auto Salon and they use very good Enthusiasts products like Klass and Menzerna.

I have two recommendations. 1. Lexus of Bellevue has a decent onsite detailer formerly known as Idens of Bellevue. They did a decent job on my ES. But make sure you do a complete walk around with the detailer that will work on your car and point put any areas of concerns. I have to say that they did a much better job when they were a independent shop, but still not bad. 2. This may surprise you but the Redmond Pro-sports club has a really good detail shop in the underground parking garage. They have all the right equipment, but more importantly the guys take there job serious and really do a nice job. They did a better job on my LX than a body shop. The link, I really think you will enjoy the result at The Proclub. Best of luck and post back your choice and of course the resulting pictures.

  2. I have a LX470 with the Nak indash 6 idsk CD player and this product will not work. I called VAIS Technology today and they say they are focusing on newer vechicles; 2004 and newer. Appartently the NAK unit has a unique switch that is different from the ML ...etc. units.

We may have to buy a $60K SUV to allow a $350 Ipod to work! What is wrong with this picture.

Lexus needs to get on the leading edges, all the high end car manufactures now provide and optional Ipod interface; BMW, Mercedes....etc. :(

  3. Is this offer still available? What are the size containers that we would get? Do you think this would be enough for two cars? (ES and LX)

I'm interested in package 1. Is the amount in USD or the pound? ( SInce the UK did not go with the Euro).

    Thanks,

  4. Hi PitbullLx964,

Nice system! I too have investigate an aftermarket DVD Nav upgrade for my '00 LX470. The system that you had installed seems to cover all the basis and it has a "clean look" installed. Where did they stuff all these components in your LX470? Is the 10 disk change in a location that is easy to change while driving? Where is the Nav / GPS antenna located ?Did you add any additional amps ...etc?

The installers I have talked with local to the Seattle area suggest that they would have to cut the center console to get the disk changer to fit. Did your installer have to do any major modifications to get everything installed?

Sorry for all the questions, but you are one of the only owners I have seen with a clean look installation, which is what I'm going for.

    Thanks for your help!

I recently had installed the Kenwood DDX 7015 touch screen headunit with the KNA-DV4100 Navigation system and Sirius Tuner/antenna along with a 10Disc Changer.  Once i find a way to host all of my pictures i will post more.  The navigation is AWSOME!  the whole setup cost me $2835 installed.  Its sweet i love it all and looks pretty good in terms of going with the interior
