you're gonna have to pop out the entire light. stick a screw driver covered with a cloth between the plastic and the metal of the car. then push the screw driver gently towards the center of the light while also applying a downward force. the clip should disengage and the light should come off. be careful, it is clipped and u do not want to break it off. once you pull it off, unscrew the socket from the plastic and replace the bulb. the bulb is 194 size. good luck. if you still have trouble, ill take some pics and post them up.
p.s. might i suggest replacing them with super white led's. it gives a much cleaner and updated look. but its up to you.

where can i buy the oem lexus wiper blade assembly other than at the dealer?

Those lights are sick nasty. The blue would look good, even if it doesn't in real life.
Nice job. How much did all those lights cost?
haha thanks. it cost me about $500 for all 4 bulbs, the igniters, ballasts, and wiring. very easy installation.

They look great nice job! Did your Lx have xenons before you changed them? Or did it have halogens.
the car originally had halogens. when i bought it 7 years ago, i had no clue what xenon was.

I recently installed the HIDynamic 8000K Kit into my 98 lx470's headlights and foglights. here are some pics, as i know this has been a hot topic amongst lx470 owners.
i recently installed the HIDynamic kit 8000K into my 98 lexus lx470 for both the headlights and foglights. I am definitely pleased with the results. the installation was pretty easy since the car already came with projectors.
here's a pic from the side with the fogs. the lights aren't as blue as they look in the pictures. there's a really noticeable, but tasteful tint of blue, but not as blue as in the picture.
here's another one without fogs
passenger side with fogs
passenger side no fogs
here's a closeup
i also changed the parking lights on the side to get the white color too. they were 194 bulbs so i just replaced them 5-LED side markers. you can compare the DRL with the parking light to see the difference. they used to be the same color
while i was ordering the 194 bulbs, i decided to order a couple more for the license plate lights in the back. it looks pretty cool
and i got 7443 tower LEDs, in the same white color, for the reverse lights
finally, here's one from faraway
hope you guys liked it.

Yeah, you'd have to set the height while the truck is stationary and lock that position...
hmm..didn't think of that. could work in theory. try it out

the thing is that if you are going above a certain speed, say, 60mph on a highway, the car will not raise or lower even when you press the button. What will happen is that the "n" light and "H" or "L" light on the dashboard, depending on whether you hit the raise or lower button, will blink and nothing will happen. I think the max speed that the car can stay in the lowered or raised position is 20-30 mph, but im not too sure.

Hi,
I have a 98 LX470 and am interested in replacing the stock bulbs (high and low beam) with PIAA Xenon lamps. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what I should do. I really want the bulbs, but don't wanna take any risks.
THanks for ur input, Omar
