In the meantime, do any of you know of or have opinions on the advisability of going with a conversion kit to non air struts? I've found one on the internet for about $1300.00 that allegedly includes new struts and all the necessary conversion hardware, etc. They claim "if you can do a brake job, you can install the conversion kit".
Sure sounds appealing considering the fact I've had 2 air struts fail and the car only has 71K miles. Regular struts are about $100 or less. Beats even the discounted great deal from Sewell and for sure beats the $1800 the dealer wants.
