Yes sorry have 2 different posts . 13,21 and 28 were codes pulled from a computer scaner. I can remember the print out now but I have a post on the general maintain form about same problem 2 of the codes are o2 sensors. The third is something about em not getting signal when motor is over 1000 rpm.

Opened up exhaust complete behind 2 front cats hollowed them out so I know exhaust open reset codes and drove car. Still very low on power and hear some spark knock got a code ..Besides of sensors. 13--- no rpm signal to ecu when engine speed is over 1000 (1) crankshaft position signal circuit short or open (2) distributor fault (3) module fault... any clue?

Also a quick note.. gas tank pressure is very high when u take off cap it seems over pressurized. But not sure if that's bormal

OK getting codes 13,21, and 28. .first 2 are on sensor codes.. cleaned out cats so I expected them.. but 28 show crank position sensor/ open short/distributor malfunction? ? Wire that was frayed turned out to be the cam position sensor.. removed the sensor and repaired the wire . Reinstalled. Cleared codes. Drove it and I get same codes. Crank position sensor is only 2 years old changed it cause car wouldn't start at all. So it's probably not that? .. still drives very sluggish.. very low power for what should be a peppy v8?

Will check codes tonight 229k miles had car forever and it's been getting worse slowly then all of a sudden it was just undriveable

Have as 94 ls 400 stock far as I know have a problem with no power
I had to floor it and manually shift it just to get up to 55 ... did a full tune up plugs , wires? Caps and rotors during the tune up I noticed a wire almost cut in half. It went into the block under the cap. Repaired the wires and taped them up so they didn't rub any more.
Still didn't fix the problem
So pulled front 2 cats down cleaned them out (litterally) still have no power xar gets up to speed if I floor it. But I don't have to manually shift it anymore so it's a bit better but still not working right. Where too next? 3rd cat? Tps? Any ideas?

Car is a 94 lexus ls400 has 190k miles. And is all stock as far as I can tell

Car had no power had to manually shift it just to get up to speed. Did a full tune e up .. plugs, wires, rotors, caps also cleaned out the front 2 converters (didn't do the third one yet though) car still has low power. While now it does accelerate on it own without manually shifting. Still have to Al out floor it to get up to speed and even then it's slow to go. Any clue ?? Idea are most welcome

OK cleaned out cats the car now accelerates on its own without manually shifting but I have to almost floor it to get it up to speed. Have done a full tune up and repaired a frayed wire going into the block just below driver side cam/ distributor cap. No clue what to try next to get it running right.
Any advice?

Car idles but won't accelerate in order to get up to speed have to shift into low and run it out before hitting 2nd then drive. Have cut holes in the exhaust before the cats to rules out blockage. I have replaced plugs , caps, rotors, and wires still does same thing. Not sure where to go from here? Coils? TPS? Any thoughts?

have a 94 ls400 thats is giving me some wierd issuses. 1st of all the gas tank pressures it self alot ,when i remove the cap i blows atlot of air out, second car wont start most of the time like its not gettingany fuel. other times it will start and idle really low and no matter what u do ,floor it,give it aliitle gas ,anytthing it wont change from that slow idle.have to turn it off and restart. other times it starts just fine. the longer it sits more chance there is it wont start ... any clues?? please help

i have same problem with my 94 ls 400 and the air is definitly comeing out not in. but i dont have any codesfor that but having a problem with car not starting like the fuel pump dont work. soemtimes it will start and run at as low idle and no matter how hard u hit the gas pedel the idle doesnt change. have to shut off car and restart it .. any ideas people im at a loss

Will o2 sensors give it no power? Was told that if they get too bad computer goes into an open loop and just runs at a set mixture.. timing belt changed 32k miles ago should be fine. Fixed the wire with heat shrink removed the sensor. Cleaned .even repaired the out we r metal sleeve on the wire. It's a computer aftermarket for foreign cars
