Alright guys so I bought two replacement seats for my 94 ls400. When I installed the passeneger side, everything worked fine for a couple weeks. Then I moved it all the way forward to fit something in the back. When I began moving it back, it lost all power about 3 seconds in. Now the seat is stuck in a position where no one can sit in it, and it also covers the front bolts that i need to reach to take the seat off. Now onto the drivers side. When I put the drivers side in, nothing worked except the the back rest would move in and out, but the seat itself did not move back and worth, or up and down. The seatbelt light was illumintated around the holster, so it had to have been recieving power. In the earlier he mentioned resetting the cut-off. I have located the 3 cutoffs, but I am not sure how to reset it? It has a small hole in it, so I was thinking maybe I need to insert a needle in it to reset it because there are no buttons. I tried to take it off, but it felt pretty sturdy, not like a fuse, so I decided I should ask first. Also right on it in very small letters it says "breaker". I just wanted to make sure this was the right part. There are three of them, above the fuse box. However, I can only get full access to only one. I have access to the hole next one, ( a green one, higher than the first breaker) but I will not be able to take it off with out removing the paneling around it. So anyways, how do I reset the breaker/cutoff? Is this what I should even be looking for in the first place? My gas cap and power doors work fine (thank god). I really dont want to bring this to lexus and have to pay 500 bucks, i only paid 2 grand for the car. ANY help would be appreciated, thank you guys.

Thank you for the info. Yeah the seats came from a 94 LS, with memory seats. Like I said the lower back moves in and out, but the seat it self doesnt move back and forth. I was at it all day again today and couldnt get it to work. All of the connections seem to be in place. As far as the passenger seat, I cannot get the last bolt off for the life of me. I stripped the bolt trying to get it off, so now I am going to go to the dealer and see what they say. I have read that it could be the motor, but I dont get why it would have worked at the lot, but not 2 days later. If anything, Ill have them take the motor from the torn seat and install it in the new seat. Hopefully this wont cost much. Ill let you know what the dealer says.

Hi everybody, just bought a 94 LS400 couple days ago. Payed little for it, so have a little cash to put into it. These are the problems that I have was wondering if you guys could help me out. The seats were ripped so I picked up a driver and passenger seat from a junk yard. When I put the new one in, it doesnt move forward and back, but the seat belt is illuminated and the part that your lower back touches moves back and forth. It worked at the junk yard because he moved the seat forward and back in order to take it out, so I am thinking that there could be a disconnect somewhere? This is really frustrating. I looked around and everything seems to be connected fine. When I put the old one back in, everything works just fine. I Tomorrow morning I will do the passanger side and see how that goes. I got one master key, and the little lock/unlock button on the side of the key is missing. There is a little button i can see down there, (the part that the actual button was supposed to push I am guessing) and I can press it with a pen, but when I do nothing happens. Tomorrow I am going to buy a new battery for it, and see if that will do it. My question is, should I get a shell on ebay? Will this fix the missing button issue? What are my options? Next is touch up paint. Lots of little scratches and marks all over, and it is a black car so they are very noticable. Recommendations? Drivers side mirror was busted and is missing. When I was at the junk yard I asked for just the mirror, and he told me that the mirror wont come off and that I would have to get the whole thing. On ebay there are mirror replacements for 10-15$, anyone tried these before?
