  1. Thanks for your thoughts. No he hasn't, and I suspect that they are not worn out....although the problem with my struts is leakage and therefore they "bottom" out over humps and bumps. Research via Google suggests the complete assembly, but a case can be made either way. Once again, I thank you for your reply.
  2. I want to replace the front struts on my 1998 LS400. Should I opt for the complete assembly or just the strut itself. My mechanic said I don't normally need to replace the springs......but on an older car like this it seems prudent to use a complete assembly. Any feed back appreciated.
  3. Does anyone know the "correct" rpms for a cold and warm engine? My cold idle is 12.5-1300 and seems a little fast. My warm idle is 500. Thanks, Frankster
