  1. Hi guys, Just changed my engine air filter on my 08 is250 for the first time myself. My only concern was that after replacing the filter I positioned the top part and put the clasps back on I noticed that the top cover is not flush with the bottom cover. What I mean is that there is a "lip" of sorts between the top and bottom covers. I stupidly did not check if this is how it normally is before I took it off so looking for input from you guys here. Since this was the first time I have done this I was a bit concerned. Thanks!
  2. Hi Guys, I just got a used 2008 IS250 AWD. It has done about 90,000 so I plan to get an oil change and cabin filter change right away. I noticed that at 96,000 there is a recommended service for: - oil change - transmission fluid change - brake fluid change - iridium spark plug change - cabin/engine air filter change Based on some threads I have read here, I noticed that a lot of people recommend getting service done at a toyota dealership rather than lexus as it is less expensive. My question is that is it ok to get all these (96,000) things done at toyota? or should I go to lexus for these? Also does anyone know approx how much the 96k service will cost me? I am located in Toronto. Many thanks!
