Could someone list the various cars which have spare donut tires that work on the sc430? As soon as someone on eBay finds out the spare they're selling works on a Lexus sc430 the price goes up by double.

May I add my two cents.....I bought an sc430 2 weeks ago, drove it home 700 miles from the dealer, couldn't stand the handling of the run-flats, went to put on new Contis and discovered I had 2 cracked rims. I blame the cracks on the run-flats. Bottom line, I'm into this about $1300 extra now but I do love the car! Hopefully, I'll have some enjoyable times ahead. Now I have to figure out the spare tire/tire repair kit thing!

Does anyone have for sale or know where I can get the 5 star center caps in silver aftermarket rather than chrome. Once in a while they appear on Ebay but not often. thanks

I bought the Continental Extreme Contact DWS and am having them installed tomorrow. The previous run flats caused a wheel to crack. Not a nice experience!

Welcome! Just picked up my sc430 '03 in Atlanta on Sun and drove it 700 miles home to Pa. Love it so far! Replaces a 94 Saab Turbo convert. That one is going to my daughter. Enjoy

I read the forums and couldn't find if an Acura TL 16" spare will work for the sc430. The bolt pattern is correct; 5x114.3. Help quick because I have a bid in on Ebay for this size tire- and noboby outbid me if it works!!!

I've heard that using fix-a-flat or green slime in a tire which has a tire pressure sensor will ruin the sensor. Does anyone know if this is true?

Is it always necessary to maintain or up-grade the sensors if new wheels are installed?

Well, here it goes! I took the plunge and bought a 2003 sc430 in Atlanta, Ga. only 600 miles from home! Wish me luck in driving it home in a couple of weeks. Bought from a BMW dealer and everything seemed to check out. 38,000 miles, one owner, clean Carfax report. I read a lot of the posts to get a feel for any problems , i.e. run-flat tires! Wanted white with saddle interior but had to settle for ecru to get a good, clean car (hopefully!) I know I'm taking a risk buying a car sight- unseen and driving home that distance but the cars seem pretty risk-free generally.
