I am new to the owners group. I recently purchased a new to me 98 GS300 about 8 months ago. Two days ago, my factory installed alarm started randomly going off. After some research, I believe that my problem is an actuator gone bad. If I leave that door unlocked, the alarm does not sound. However, now that I have stopped the alarm from sounding, now my factory HID lights quite working. Fog lights and tail lights still work though.
I checked the fuses under the hood and all seems well. Then then next day, 1 headlight comes on for about 1 minute and then goes off. Any ideas?
