Hi Ramsascooby,

I today bought a Lexus Rx400h 2008 model and after driving back when I bought last night , after doing 250 miles it suddenly showed the code when I was driving on the highway the fault code check Hybrid system with Vsc and Check AWd. 

So I checked It is POA45 with OBD and cleared it too after that it has not come back as yet after doing 100 miles .

When I Start the engine it gives constant humming noise tone for about 30 seconds and then stops , which I believe is coming from the back of the car 

the car drives all fine , I'm worried now what could be the problem  , please help!!!

That's exactly what I'm having cheers!!!!

Just changed the left side new o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 all lights VSC and trak and Mil light have gone very pleased finally!

Yes thanks just realised today it's right side changed the fault is on the left side so ordered the part to be changed 2mro let's that works

im very concerned about doing the jumper procedure , im worried i might short circuit some thing i have no knowledge in this procedure.

Bought a new sensor TODAY from dealer ship and replaced pre cat sensor driver side

cleared the code with scanner and battery disconnect and the light vsc and mil went off after driving for 10 mins it comes back on

dont know what to do?????

The original one I taken out is from the driver side pre cat part no : 89465-50130

fault code P0031 bank 1 sensor 1

im in the UK my driver side is right side and US is passenger side so the confusion caused me to order the wrong sensor

Hi I have lexus ls430 2004 the VSC and engine light came on got it check by connect obd 2 and the code was P0031 which is O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 . I changed the O2 sensor driver side left pre cat which was denso and then took battery neg terminal off for 2 mins it reset light turned off. Then drove for 10 mins it came back on don't know what to do can some one help.

I have also cleared the code with obd scan elm327 with my laptop it clears for 10 mins of driving still comes back on I do not know what to do
