  1. What a turn of events. I had a charging issue last week & went to Walmart & had my battery replaced. Stereo has been messing up for last 2 weeks. 4 days after new battery,it was down again. Checked altenator & found it was bad. Replaced alt. & no more stereo problems!!! I would have never dreamed that amp pulled that much juice, but it does........Folks w/ Nak "amp" issues..........Make SURE charging ststem is doing it's job. For what it's worth!

  2. I figured you should be able to buy a amp w/ comparable wattage & the same number of channels & it would work. Thats the sort of answer I was hoping for & expecting. Ya kno, I did appreciate the schematic, and replied as such. That doesnt have jack sh to do w/ this question in my opinion.I have not talked to my "stereo guy" yet,& will as funds become available. I appreciate the info on the refurbished amps & will be getting in touch. Thanks all............ :chairshot:

  3. 93 SC 4 W/ 209k. Soon to do lca's. Did you notice a big improvement after this repair?? Mechanic says I need lca's & inner tie rods. Right now she's a dangerous pig. Hope this is my cureall as I can't afford alot at one time. thanks for info on measurement.........Will pass along to my guy. Steve

  4. New owner of a 1993 Sc400 with the Nak unit. I cannot find any info on how this is setup.Does the head unit{part you see in the car} have it's own power or is it all powered by the amp in the trunk? I am wanting to fix,or upgrade. to aftermarket things I need to make my system sound better. First week I had the car it was great. Now I am getting a poping sound when I reach a certain loudness,& also my front passanger side speaker quit working. The factory woofer is plenty for me & hopefully I can wire in a new head unit & be ok

    Any help appreciated. DavisSteve58@Gmail.com :)
