  1. Modifiy the alignment... humm,.. You are on target, but the range is limited, however, worthwhile. Look, the car is sound. The wider the tire, the more tendency toward 'groove tracking'. If the car is solid , as to bushing, joints, bearings, etal then the tires are usually the issue. Sway bars - tower braces are great objectives when the vehicle is asked to turn. Tires and tire pressure may be closer to the 'cruising' issue on the decaying slabs of the interstate.

  2. Once the lens nuts are removed you will be able to remove the mutli- bulb retainer, as mentioned above. I would recommend (as I did) replacing all the bulbs at the same time - no need to do this project to often. I had a bulb burn out in 1998. 5 years later, after replacing all bulbs with premium bulbs, still ok. Also I cleaned the bulb sockets and applied a liquid Turtle Guard ( better than Armor All, of course) to all plastics of the bulb retainer assembly. Finally, I silicon sealed all seams of the lenses to prevent moisture incursions into the the inner lens areas. my 2 cents...

  3. Changed out my trunk struts w/ aftermarket item. lasted about 3 years in Las Vegas. Current set installed a few months ago (prior set lost gas) and lubed the inner-shafts w/ silicon -- maybe they will last even longer than 3 years. :)

  4. I also have a situation with remote access. My 92 sc400 remote access key is now no longer operational. Dealer wants low-mid $300ish for key and computer chip, programming (simple replacement not an option). Looking at 3rd party alarm/remote entry, and remote entry. Stock alarm is tied into the door locks. Stock alarm is also rather limited. I am looking at having a Clifford Arrow 5 alarm/remote entry system. Installed well under $300.00. As it will trigger the door locks, it will also, per alarm installer, provide for BOTH alarms to work together. In addition, I will get a remote trunk release function, and a 3rd channel for dome lights, whatever, and a panic function. Sounds better than just replacing my now failed remote key etal. Thoughts?
