  1. Hey guys, I have been a lurker here for quite some time, posted a few times and bought some items from someone on here for my older 2001 ES300. I just recently purchased an ES350 and have a few questions.

First, I have searched in here for the intergrated iPod hookup and found a few but wanted to see specifically what other ES350 owners had to say about one. Do you have one? Which one? How well does it work? Things like that.

Second, the car I have has the Navigation but I didn't feel it was worth the price to get the Levinson system with the DVD player. Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to get some kind of DVD player unit that will play DVD's to headset screens as well as send the video signal to the Nav screen in the front of the car. And, if so, how would the audio work? All speakers in the car, none, some, etc? And, in regards to this, would it be possible and what would it cost to change out the Nav system head unit and get the DVD head unit?

Thanks in advance for any help.

  2. i am new here but i hope someone can help me.  I just bought a cd changer for my wifes 1998 es300. i was told it could be mounted in the glove box but i don't see how.  the car was not originally equipped with a changer.  do i have to buy a conversion kit if so where would i find one.

I am working on installing a CD Changer in my 1999 ES300... Here are all the parts you would need:

    # CD Changer (08601-00864)

    # Glove Box Inner Door (55552-33110)

    # Lower Panel (55433-33070-A0 for Ivory Interior)

    # Lower Panel (55433-33070-C0 for Black Interior)

    # Lower Panel (55433-33070-G0 for Sage Interior)

    # Panel Cushion (55449-33010)

    # Upper Panel (55431-33020)

    # CD Magazine (86273-50050)

Before you go out and buy these parts, check with the dealer first to make sure they will fit your car. Hope this helps.

  3. I have a 1998 ES 300 and it didn't come with the cd changer in the glove box so I bought one off Ebay. I took the glove box out and hooked it up and it works fine. Now, my only question is, the glove box needs to be cut so the cd changer can stick out inside it properly. Can anyone help me on how to best do this? I don't want to screw it up yano. I am thinking that just the top half needs to be cut out but like I said, I don't want to screw it all up. Is there 2 different kinds of glove boxes, one for the changer and one without? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
