Update, I justed pulled the codes via DLC2 and O/D OFF indicator light flash and I receive a code 63. Alldatadiy claims code 63 refering to No.2 solenoid Valve and/or valve circuit. If ECU detects the situation once,it will hold the code, but will only alert me if it detects the situation continously 8 times or more in one trip. With this additional info, do you still feel it worth my while too proceed with the Dextron flush and replace first or research code 63 further?? Keeping in mind that my problem only takes place while the fluid is cold. If you would like,I will post more info related to code 63 diagnostic chart. Thanks again!!

I've added....1st generation timing belt and water pump and a how to remove painted pin stripes..plus a few others. I'm not an expert (I'm only a smog check test only technician) so I'm sure that if I'm able to do these then almost anyone will be capable of doing the same. I found this club and people here to be very helpful so hopefully my tutorials will give back somehow. If I missed anything please feel free to add to it.

THANKS SO MUCH BUT I JUST RAN INTO ANOTHER PROBLEM I DISCONNECTED MY NEG BATT TERMINAL IN HOPES OF RESETTING THE ECU NO MY TELASCOPING STEERING WHEEL GOES OUT BUT NOT DOWN ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE A DIAGRAM OF THE FUSE BOX? I DONT HAVE THE COVER TO MINE THANKS YALL

wow some of the advice sounds like a relief BUT i have a 91 400 and somtimes it drives fine but somtimes all of a sudden the od/off starts to flash and i notices a difference in the acceleration response the manual says its somthing in the tranny im hoping it is not a major problem does anyone have suggestions for me? hopefully i can just change the fluid PLEASE HELP!

whats up everyone i just bought a 91 ls400 with 180k for 3 grand it runs nice but the airbag light wont go off the engine has just been replaced i was thinking it may be some sort of reset needed any help would be great also the od light flashes every once in a while although the transmission seems fine and there is good fluide levels please help im worried its a big problem

yeah i just got a 91 ls400 the wheel tilts slightly to the right but no driving prob

B) I also just got a 1991 ls400 with 180k for 3,000s that a good deal the od off flashes somtimes but the engine has been replaced also the air bag light stays on
