  1. I'm in the process of acquiring a 1998 GS300 in very good condition. I'm pretty sure it takes premium unleaded as did our old '93 GS. The question is can we get away with using mid-grade (89 octane) rather than the super unleaded? I know that I'll probably be sacrificing some performance, but will it harm the engine in other ways? Other concerns I should be worried about?

  2. The TRAC button is the traction control button. It turns on/off the traction control feature on the vehicle. The traction control helps when your wheels start to spin or skid on wet surfaces, for example, and cuts down on the power to those wheels that are loosing traction to help you gain control of your car back. I was told to leave the button on the ON position all the time as a safety feature. Hope this help you out.

  3. Thanks to the crappy search function, I'll have to ask this in a new thread. My wife's '93 GS300 shocks are just about worn out. Does anyone know who is the OEM manufacturer? I'd rather not go to the Stealer and get it from them. Know of a good place to get replacement ones? Just need OEM replacement ones, thanks! Also are these good shocks and good prices for them?

  4. I'm a noob to this site, but not a noob to Yotas. My wife has a '93 GS300 and wanted to change the headlight bulbs out becuase they're yellowing pretty bad for some reason, was thinking swapping them out for Silverstars. Anyhoo, how in the heck do you remove the screws that hold the harness in place. The same goes form my dad's '98 LS400. There is no way to get a screwdriver in that tight space is there? And yes, I tried doing a search, but couldn't find the info I was looking for. Thanks in advance!
