  1. The timing belt can be replaced at any Lexus dealer. It may cost you about $900 but it is a very good thing to replace, especially around the mileage you're at.

    I think the only thing they may replace is the belt itself. If they take the engine cover off and see that anything else needs replacing (tensioner etc.) they'll probably mention it to you. Same with the water pump, but the main priority is the belt itself.

  2. Just stopping in to say hello and that I am the new owner of a 2000 Lexus GS300. I have owned the car for five days and I am honestly in love with it. You can tell that Lexus really puts a lot of time into every little detail of the car and the driving experience is extremely enjoyable.
